ilovethenet.co.uk was established in 2002, by three Glasgow University students. We aren't trying to make millions, but we do like running decent web hosting, so that we don't have to buy our own web hosting off other, less reliable web hosts. We know the value of good support, as we are all web developers ourselves We know what hosting software is best (and we have it installed) And we know web developers need tools such as SSH and ruby on rails (so they are installed too...)

About the hosting setup

ilovethenet.co.uk is maintained from the UK, but servers are worldwide, to provide the most cost-effective supply of hosting. All servers are private ilovethenet servers running up-to-date secure Linux installs (Cent OS.) Every server has a full set of features, and full access to your own settings and customising tools. And we don't overload the servers, so you can guarentee good performance.
